We Show Up On Time
Punctuality comes up more than anything else in our reviews. We give you a window, we call ahead, and we arrive inside it. If a job before yours runs long, you hear from us before you start wondering.
Gale Electric is a family-owned residential electrician serving Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, and West Richland. Panels, wiring, lighting, ceiling fans, and the odd problem nobody else could find. Kyle Gale runs the crew. Estimates are free. You get the price before we start, and that price is what you pay.
Kyle Gale started this company in October 2020. Five years later it is still family-owned, still based in Richland, and still built around houses instead of jobsites. That matters more than it sounds. A residential electrician spends the day in crawlspaces and attics and finished rooms with furniture in them, working around kids, pets, and people who need their kitchen back by dinner. It is a different job than pulling conduit in an empty warehouse. We do it every day, so we are fast at it and we clean up after ourselves.
Most calls start the same way. Something stopped working, or something feels wrong, and nobody has given a straight answer about why. We come out, find the cause, and explain it in plain language before any tools come off the truck. Then you get a written price. If the fix is small, we say so. If your panel is at the end of its life, we say that too, and we show you what we are looking at. Seventy-one Google reviews and a 5.0 rating say the approach works.

Punctuality comes up more than anything else in our reviews. We give you a window, we call ahead, and we arrive inside it. If a job before yours runs long, you hear from us before you start wondering.
Estimates are free and the number is upfront. You approve a written price before we start, and that is what you pay unless you ask for something else. Customers mention the quoting process constantly, usually because they were expecting the opposite.
Gale Electric holds Washington residential specialty electrical contractor license GALEEEL790O7. Permits get pulled where they belong and the work is done to code, so it passes inspection and does not become the next owner's problem during a home sale.
Kyle opened the doors in October 2020 and still runs the jobs. There is no rotating cast of subcontractors and no call center between you and the person who did the work. If something needs a second look, you call the same number.
Gale Electric has been BBB accredited since July 2026 with an A+ rating. Accreditation is not a marketing badge you buy once and forget. It means there is a public record of how complaints get handled, and ours is clean.
Estimates cost nothing, including the drive out to look. Military discounts are available, active or retired, and we do not make you hunt for the fine print. Ask when you call and it is applied to the quote.

5 servicesGale Electric is amazing. They worked on a very long and tedious project at my house (installing a new panel, rewiring, etc). They were able to get us scheduled quickly! They always showed up right on time and were very kind. They explained everything they were doing and let us know the quote upfront. Great team of people!
Gale Electric exceeded my expectations. Kyle Gale was able to diagnose the electrical issues that others could not determine. They fixed the issue properly and up to code. Thank you for the peace of mind.
Kyle showed up my house fast as he possibly could and got my electrical panel fixed up within the week. I can rest easy knowing my house won't burn down and that Gale Electric is always available when I needed!
Both electricians were helpful in advising re: light location and type, switching options and fan recommendations. Work was done as expected.
Gale Electric was absolutely great for installing my Level 2 EV Charger. I called probably about 6-7 companies to get quotes on installation. Gale Electric was fairly priced and the most responsive.
I needed help with increasing the power options in my office. Kyle came out quickly to talk it over, gave me a great path forward that I hadn't considered and didn't try to over-sell me on something I didn't need. He was great!

We cover the Tri-Cities and the towns around it: Kennewick, Richland, Pasco, West Richland, Benton City, Burbank, Finley, and Prosser. Open seven days a week, 8AM to 5PM. If you are outside that list but still in Benton, Franklin, or Walla Walla County, call and ask. We usually can.
Houses are the focus and that is deliberate. Residential is where five years of panel work, remodel wiring, and troubleshooting has gone. That said, we do take commercial jobs in the Tri-Cities: tenant improvements, lighting retrofits, and service upgrades for small offices, shops, and retail spaces. If your building is closer to a house in size than a warehouse, call and we will tell you whether it is a fit.

Not always. Whether your Tri-Cities home needs a panel upgrade for a Level 2 charger comes down to a load calculation, your panel's spare capacity, and how fast you want to charge.

Richland's alphabet houses were wired for a 1940s workload. Here is how to tell whether yours needs a full rewire, a partial one, or just a panel and some grounding work.
Free estimates across the Tri-Cities. Call Kyle and the crew, or send the details and we will come look.
